WoW Upgrades - The item Level Upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more useful, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as important for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and is accessible anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended to visit the upgrader once every few weeks to keep your equipment up to date.

The cost of upgrades will be based on the current item level of the equipment being upgraded however, they will always be less expensive than buying new equipment from other sources. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item upgrader mod from a different player will cost 105.
