If you've ever thought of purchase a robot vacuum, now is the time. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self cleaning vacuum cleaner-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most intelligent vacuum cleaner robot vacuum to date. Its most notable advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. This uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters so that you can tell it to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't sweep in areas that you don't wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it by voice.

Its design is an improvement over the rest with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ was quick to removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in place, rather than scattering it around the floor. It was able to collect small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a bit of grit. Most robots can't do this. It did all of this without getting caught in our pet's shedding hair.

Although it's not as efficient as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs The J7+ is an excellent choice for those who need both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and often it's hard to determine whether the update actually working until you see it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, the best choice is probably a hybrid. This kind of robot usually has a built-in water tank that allows them to vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. These bots also have a variety of extra features like smart mapping and small object avoidance and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. They're costly at full retail but often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our top robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and although it's not equipped with some of the premium features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great choice if you're willing to sacrifice a little to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes down to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it a great choice for homes that have many furniture pieces. It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies, which is an area which many robot vacuums can really fall short. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is fantastic as well, with only a few misses in corners and on walls.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled via only a few buttons on your device, or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas and adjust your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you select the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is easy. It comes with a huge LCD screen which is helpful for setting up schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, but it can help to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are some of the top available however it's expensive.

Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is quite compact. But the station's biggest selling feature is the way it automatizes various tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the few robovacs I've tested that do an excellent job of cleaning robots up debris from bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It can't navigate stairs as well as some competitors, and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who need an automated vacuum - Recommended Studying - that can do it all.

If you're looking to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options on the market. Many of the eufy models cost substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance, is cheaper, but offers many more features, like the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides a better overall vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished carpets, low-pile carpets and even high-pile ones.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy, an Anker company is a long-standing leader of making robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's simple to set up, simply attach one of the side brushes and then turn it on. Then plug in your charging dock. The app guides you through a few steps to connect to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. It is recommended to keep the dock close to an electrical outlet and plenty of room to allow it to move, however.

The G30 is a small device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, meaning it will be tucked away under couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is a little less flashy than some of the rival models, with sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which cleans the area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It makes use of an integrated map to draw an image of the unmovable objects in its path. It keeps track of the items it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. When it's time to recharge, it returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning from where it left off.

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgThe elegant G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, has the same battery life and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It has a bigger dust bin that does not require the same amount of emptying. It also comes with boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and it's less difficulty handling bulky products such as cereal.
