Three Wheeled Buggies

Three-wheeled buggies are great for walking around the neighborhood or for jogging. Their compact design makes it easy to maneuver even in tight spots.

MFM reviewer Kath tested the buggy with a newborn and a 3 wheel all terrain pushchair year old and found it coped well with grass, cobbles, rough roads, dirt tracks and kerbs. She said that it felt solid to push and extremely solid on rough terrain. Its tyres, which are inflatable and require to be pumped up regularly they have suspension built-in. This was very comfortable for my kids.

Another thing to think about is the size of the seat and shape. It should be large enough for your child's comfort and you will also require it to recline so that they can lie flat. Some three-wheel buggies have a lie-flat option that allows the child to face you, while other buggies only allow a face-to-parent one.

The Roma Atlas is a great option for off-road and wet walks. It can be used as a one-person unit from birth, and then expands to take two children when your family grows. Easy to Manoeuvre

The only drawback to this amazing maneuverability is that the larger wheels of a 3 wheel buggy can sometimes make it difficult to fit into tight spaces. This is something to be aware of when you live in an urban area. If this is an issue, a 4-wheeled buggy may be the better choice for you.

Kath, our MFM reviewer, also loved the roominess of the buggy. There's a large easy-to-access basket that's quite spacious for such a small buggy and there's an excellent zip-up pouch at the rear of the seat unit, and even two smaller mesh pockets inside the hood for your keys and phone.
