Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are made available.

Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To produce them, you require a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next Success result is repeated. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they are open they show a complete description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.

In the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This alters which blueprints the restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
