World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The item upgrade lets players boost an item's gear rating up 700 points, and then give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd to increase their stats (like a perfectly rolled breakpoint armour used in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not change significantly after an upgrade, so they aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to improve their numeric stats such as damage to attack, crit chance PvE and damage from PvP. Weapons come with a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Many weapons also have a fixed bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a unit. This bonus may be more than the damage that an upgrade alone can do.

The cost of upgrading a weapon's capabilities is contingent on the quality of the weapon and its current level. For instance, an upgrade to a +2 weapon will require two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the weapon will continue to increase until it requires an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the number will be reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons also alter the stats of the base. While this is generally a good thing, it can have some negative effects as well. For items that only see use in a particular build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs for instance) upgrading them could make them unusable unless you get a fortunate roll.

Armor items can also be upgraded to increase their effectiveness. For example, if you upgrade chests or helms this will increase its base defense while a belt and gloves will improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor also offers the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense%, meaning that it could roll back to a lower number.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats it will gain when upgraded, along with their respective values. This means that the weapon will gain 3% attack damage if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will hit 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon can be possible by pressing the green button in the Item Upgrader Mod (King-Wifi.Win) menu with the circling arrows. This will roll the item level upgrade and alter its stats, but it won't reset the weapon's levels or bind to account status.

Armor

A few tweaks to your armor can make a a huge difference in your ability to endure. Certain sets can offer MASSIVE boosts to poison, curse, fire and magic resistance, making it easier to navigate through tough terrain. In general, the greater defense you can offer your character, the more health you can receive from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.

To improve your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains available in the game and to unlock them all, you have to complete a side quest that involves the Stable Trotters. Once you've completed the main quest and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor is different. In general, you'll need at anywhere between three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the first upgrade, and then anywhere from five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent upgrade. The Champion Leathers, for instance, can be upgraded to a +5 defense rating, which allows you to stay ahead in frigid conditions with a large number of adversaries. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other is able to be upgraded as high as +20 defense to ensure you're able to withstand a rout with your friends.

You can't upgrade your armor like weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor for physical strength or the power of spells. It's also a good idea to save your armor upgrades to use for armor you'll be wearing at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you use for the final boss battle, the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town, you can unlock perks for your armor. It is generally recommended to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to beat the game. For example, the Longsword or Battleaxe. But it's useful to have some upgrades for the helmets and chest armor so that you can escape some monsters.

Potions

Potions are substances in bottles that, when consumed give the player the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five types of potions that have different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded, enhancing their effectiveness. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

Upgrades to your potion require a specific amount of XP. This can be obtained through crafting them on a craft table, or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The price of upgrades is dependent on the kind of potion you wish to upgrade, as well as on the item's Mark Level and Rarity.

To upgrade a potion you need to right-click it in your inventory. Then, select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open a GUI which allows you to select the potions that you wish to upgrade, and the amount of experience they will provide when upgraded. The upgrade of potions can be completed in batches of up to five at a single time, and the XP that they generate will be added to your current XP count.

Once a potion is upgraded and stored, it will not degrade unless you make use of it again or break the bottle within the container it is kept. You can also rename the potion by clicking on it in your inventory.

There were some changes to the mechanics of potion in version 1.7.2. For instance splash potions now have a duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the equivalent of 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the item hover display). The potion table is now crafted from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, unlike Java Edition. The same is true for using a potion within the cauldron that is filled. This will drain the potion, and refill the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions, which are made using dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can also be added to lingering potions to enhance their effects. The potion table is now laid out more in line with the Java Edition, and new potions were added such as the potion of leaping, the decomposition potion, as well as turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket is an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece jewelry. It can also refer to a small ornament or object that serves a function but isn't essential such as a Thimble. In some cultures, a trinket is used to express friendship or affection between family members.

Trinkets can be upgraded by players in addition to weapons, armor, and potions. Upgrades can be obtained by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets, trinkets can be swapped out at will without losing their stats.

Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of each zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased using tokens, gold, or fragments from rare trinkets.

The upgrade of a trinket can be a cost-effective alternative to purchasing new ones. It can be done by players for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will come with the same base ilvl as previous one, and will have an additional upgrade bonus of 1.

Once the old Trinkets are no longer useful, they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase both their power and value over time. They can be traded between players and are a viable alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most important items first. This means that the best-in slot items for each class are upgraded first then their secondary gear, and then other equipment that they will not replace anytime soon (such as rings or cloaks). Players should also consider their class's preferred stats when deciding the items to upgrade items. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for a tank player then they should consider upgrading their chest, helm, and shoulders.

When they are no longer useful trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher level. The upgraded trinket will give you an additional bonus of 1. However, a re-upgrade is likely to destroy the old trinket in the event that it is not saved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an alternative salvage tool that is higher-end. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still cheaper than buying new ones.
