World of Warcraft Upgrades and item upgrade Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and damage from PvE.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is in %, the weapon will increase 3percent of its previous damage each time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons and trinkets in order to provide an additional stat boost or effect while they're in use. These can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors or trading with other players or looting. Some upgrades also have specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment that has a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue level before a component can be used. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied only once. They are not able to be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a special kind of upgrade item component that is used for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment, as well as some of the non-ascended back items. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging gear that is ascended or by completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade could have a prefix or suffix, modifying the name of the equipment with which it is used (for instancefor example 'Canthan Armor Insignia is changed to Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players to create stronger versions of that equipment that require less Upgrade Crystals than are required to achieve the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A boost upgrade can modify the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them from the cash shop or collecting them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

The player can get the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-level version of the item will appear at the time of the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their equipment even if they are unsure what will be improved after an update.

The process of upgrading an item could be costly and it is likely that the item will be obsolete, or even break, if the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed if the upgrade fails. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items that double or even eliminate possibility of failure, and some upgrades that provide the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs increase the power of all nodes in their radius, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in various ways, and we suggest getting them to level 15 as soon as you can.

In the final game you'll often discover that the Best item upgrade way to improve your gear is to place Glyphs. These are the only upgrade component which can be upgraded to level 15 and give a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced, however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without any restrictions. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of an Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain unlimited-use gathering tools and also through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have the desired Glyphs then you have to attach them to your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that can boost the stats of a particular set of nodes that are within a radius of the Glyph. Based on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Utilizing the Glyph will boost all nodes that are connected to it, and it is recommended to position your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximise the impact. For example an Druid should try to position their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes but also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The upgrade system of items allows players to increase the power of certain items by adding upgraded components. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned a level that determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum level of 385. Each level of item Upgrader mod requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields a number of Technology Points. These points can be used for the upgrading of an item. When enough points have been earned, you will be eligible to claim the upgrade and also receive the bonuses.

When a player upgrades an item to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a new item of the same kind. This means that the same armor piece will become the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set bonus. This can be a disadvantage because it can make the item more expensive if you do not require it.

The upgrades to items can be rerolled, provided that the player has enough reroll tokens to do so. This will cause the item to be traded for a new one, which will have a level 1 base and a different set of extra bonuses. This is a good idea however it should not be used frequently as it could waste resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to modify their equipment. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or does not swim as dolphins). The item can be upgraded many times and increases the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is very important in PvP. A perfectly rolled version could be worth 50 times the value of its non-upgraded version.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to boost the level of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by offering the appropriate currency and items to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase the defense base of the item, and upgrading weapon items will increase the damage base and the strength and dexterity required to match the requirements of the upgraded equipment.

All items are upgradeable up to five times, with the exception for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Each time you upgrade an object, it has a chance of failing. The failure rate increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures can result in the item upgrades returning to its original state and the player having to pay for more materials than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item is not upgraded, the experience bar in its growth bar will be reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it gained like the chance to crit, attack damage, or additional effects (such as a higher healing rate over time or the speed of reloading). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from the lowest to the highest. This means that if a weapon gains a crit chance increase it will be applied before any damage from attacks increases. Slots is a brand new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is recalculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost for upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a typical equipment item may have five upgrades at a cost of 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero grade items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements than standard gear--for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. However, players will need to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. Each upgrade of equipment will require different amounts of ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the costs that are listed above.
