Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A special item can be used to transform certain Pokemon. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and is sometimes offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be placed in weapons, armor trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets to boost their level of use. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, based on the item type.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, armors, weapons and gathering tools in order to add attribute bonuses or other effects when the equipment is being used. The item being upgraded must be equipped with an upgrade slot to accept the component, and most upgrade components require the item upgrader mod - advice here - being upgraded to be at a certain level. Some upgrade items have special effects that are visible when they are used. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, bought by Karma merchants, or traded with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and received as rewards.

Various upgrade components are available, each providing an individual bonus. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions, can be used with any kind of equipment. They also offer less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be utilized on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, while enrichments can be utilized on certain ascended back equipment. Slotting in an upgrade component will destroy the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and Enchantments, which can be removed and then reinserted.

Insignias or enchantments, as well as prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia would change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements like ligatures, ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel lets you insert and examine these special characters, as well as common symbols like em and en dashes, as well as registered trademark symbols.

Each Glyph gives an initial boost in stats for the character. The glyph could also be equipped with up to four secondary stats that influence its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost which is multiplied by other bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.

Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the selected item. You can only apply the correct Glyph to the item you have selected. Each weapon or jewelry piece has its own collection of Glyphs.

Glyphs can be leveled up by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the area is, the greater Glyph experience you will gain. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it can be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

When a Glyph is at the desired level, you can activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and will also boost all other nodes in its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed in areas that will benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. The glyphs that are rare could offer double bonuses if certain conditions are satisfied, so they're worth looking out for too.

Click the cycle widget to alter the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option below "Entire Font". For instance, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limit the options to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves establishing an account with a brand new username in order to increase your chances of getting the weapon or character you want. It can be done to level up faster, or to get more loot, such as a new weapon for your character. Many players reroll until they get the characters they like regardless of their strength. This could be due to the fact that they like the character's design or their personality.

When you reroll, you have be sure that the changes you're making are safe. You should test locally whether the patch is approved by the pre-commit test and run a core dev check. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue with plain diff (see What's the deal with an interdiff? ).

Rerolls could take days or weeks to complete, based on the luck of the draw. To speed up the process be sure to avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this time. Additionally you should not re-do any quests that are completed later in the game. This can save you time and energy.

When rerolling, it's essential to be aware the upgrade item system. There are numerous ways to enhance your character's appearance as well as power. Upgrades, rerolling characters and upgrading weapons are all options. In addition, it is crucial to be aware of the limitations of the upgrade system.

Rerolling isn't a mandatory element of the game but it can be useful to increase the chances of winning the right weapon or character. It could be beneficial in the case of trying to find the Best item upgrader character or if you're looking to test different play styles and builds.

Sets

A set is an object collection having 2 common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets can be used to perform operations such as union, intersection and difference.

When you upgrade an item, it is a different version of itself that is better than the previous version. This means that armor and weapons will have a higher defense and lower requirements for strength.

Upgrading is a great way to bring popular single-set items into level with their higher-tiered set counterparts. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to the Elite Spired helmet could increase the defense by 217 up to 321 and decrease the strength and levels to an feasible range.

It's important to remember that not all items in a set can be upgraded. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield, a spec's item or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Exceptional and Elite in their individual ways and do not require upgrading. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their performance even more. For such items, it could be worth the cost to upgrade them.
