WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

The more modernized gear generally has a greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or very high stat variation (like eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enhancements.

The upgrader is located in all major cities, and is accessible at any time to upgrade your equipment. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the item level, however they'll always be cheaper than buying new gear. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be bought by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for a variety of currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon, or armor. The button will display the item's next upgrade level if there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the item and the current level of the item as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers, for example. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones and a number of crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or crests used. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain level it is able to be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currency types.

Many locations offer item upgraders which include the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount and the chance to get a brand new upgrade recipe. In Season 3, the upgrade system was tweaked a bit, with several new features added. When a player has an upgrade to a certain level for an item level Upgrade (www.google.fm) in an armor slot, upgrading other items to that level will be less expensive, even if they belong to a different gear set.

The discount applies to all accounts. In the same way, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players reach certain milestones in their achievement.

Crests

Players have several options when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specific and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are an important part of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests can only be used on equipment of a particular rank, and every rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The most basic and straightforward upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the more complex one requires as many as 20 crests depending on the type of gear that is being upgraded.

Players can obtain crests by completing content of the appropriate level, which involves walking around and performing outdoor activities to get lower-tier gear, raids or dungeons of all difficulty for items of higher tier, or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses and dungeons to obtain endgame gear. Crests can be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC, like Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken, for the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.

The new currency system isn't complicated to use, however it does bring some changes to the upgrade process. When a piece has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it no longer requires Flightstones. This is to allow players to upgrade their equipment to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters, rather than relying solely on seasonal loot.

It's also crucial to choose crests wisely, as they have only one purpose. It is Best item upgrade to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the top-quality equipment that you can find, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is particularly true for items such as trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The discount for the entire account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with top-quality gear.
